Mike: Your e-mail arrived in my Inbox - I immediately opened it and read that my order had been shipped. To my amazement, my door bell then rang. I went to the door, my package was on the step and UPS was just pulling away. That's amazing service! Thanks a lot. Brian
"My order arrived a few days ago, much to the delight of the recipient. Thank you for your wonderful store and your fantastic breads!" Josephine Gandolfi
"Mr. Benedetti, or should i say chef Benedetti? I never saw a commercial for your bread, but after i write this to you i will see if it's on youtube. I found out about your bread delivery service because i live in san jose, and to get your bread i normally have to drive for about an hour and a half to get to your store. Which is well worth it, whenever my terrifyingly beautiful woman and i have a mutual day off there's really nothing we prefer doing more than driving up the coast for a couple fresh baked loaves, some olive oil bread dip, grabbing one of your bottles of wine and either going to the cemetary (i'm not gothic), or going to the beach to relax and enjoy your food. but with gas prices as they are we always check your website to make sure you're open. and that's when i noticed you shipped them.
a couple weeks ago my girlfriends sister came into town from Minnesota,so we brought her over to your store. she loved it and actually ordered one of your bread packs to go to her father too. so even if you're commercial isn't seen, you can count on word of mouth to get around that you have a fantastic product." "Mike and Shirley... The garlic sourdough is garnering incredible reviews from all the recipients. And I'm crazy about the blood orange balsamic. It dresses any salad beautifully. You done good, as we say in the sunny Southland. Have a terrific 2008!" Fondly...Carol
Two miles from the Pacific Ocean is the small village of Pescadero. It is in San Mateo County and feels like a world away from the Bay Area. In reality it is just over the hill from Silicon Valley and the hustle and bustle San Francisco and the peninsula. There are three big attractions in Pescadero for those of us who like to eat. Duarte's Tavern, Norm's Market/Arcangeli Grocery Company and Bakery, and Harley Farms. The three destinations add up to a day-long feast in one square mile. Read More...
We always stop here whenever we are within miles of the place. Go there, get the artichoke bread. It's out of this world. Words cannot describe how killer this stuff is. It's always hot out of the oven, and so so good. We get one to eat then and one to bring home and stash in the freezer. They sell it hot, but they also have half cooked loaves you can bring home and finish off in your own oven. Those are what we get to bring home. They have other awesome breads too. Buy several, and freeze them. You will not be sorry. Read More...
